Elisha Chesler (She/Her)

My Education: 

Elisha completed her undergraduate degree at York University, earning a BA Hons. in Sociology. She then went on to pursue her master’s degree at Arizona State University (ASU), completing her MA in Special Education with a specialization in psychology. She has also completed advanced training in neurodivergent coaching.

My Experience: 

Elisha has been working in clinical settings with autistic populations since 2005, providing early intervention programs focused on developing skills and improving quality of life for children and their families. Elisha has experience creating programming to successfully teach skills to meet the needs of learners in school, in the home, and within the community. Since 2016, Elisha has also been involved in advocacy efforts supporting the autism community through lobbying to ensure fair and equitable support for children, adolescents, and adults with autism.

My Why?

I became a mental health professional because I am passionate about helping individuals as they seek support for challenges they are facing.
